CORPORATE GOLF CHALLENGE
13 Dec 2008
Last year, the event was won by Tony Billingham & Kevin O’Connell from Bon Café Middle East at the Emirates Golf Club. Billingham, Bon Café’s Chief Executive, “This was our first time that we entered the event. We qualified in May at the Montgomerie and went through to the final. What a great day! The organisation was first class by Xerox and we ended up winning the chance to play at Wentworth, which was fantastic. Xerox have since entertained us at the Rugby 7s, the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship and we will be going to the Desert Classic on Friday! The event has been great for business development and we’ll definitely be entering again as defending champions”.

10 Reasons To invest in Abu Dhabi Property
1. Property is cheap on an International level and in absolute and relative terms. For example an average villa will cost around $1,000 per square metre in Abu Dhabi in comparison to London Docklands where it would cost $5,000 per square metre. There are very few modern cities in the world where similar property is priced so low.

2. Foreign Ownership Abu Dhabi is in the process of creating an international property market from scratch, with foreign ownership of freehold only introduced a few years back. Thus buyers are given an exceptionally good deal to encourage them to be pioneers.

Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage
The Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) is the institution in charge of conserving and promoting the heritage and culture of Abu Dhabi. Established in October 2005 as an authority of the Government of Abu Dhabi, it is administered by a board of directors chaired by H. E. Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan.

The creation of ADACH was a direct result of the implementation of the Abu Dhabi Cultural Heritage Management Strategy, a 5-year strategy prepared by a UNESCO-led team working closely with local experts. The Strategy identified the principal issues affecting the development of Abu Dhabi’s culture and heritage and laid down goals for its activities.
