Northern Emirates real estate market matures
Recently concluded show underlines the depth and vitality of property
markets across the wider UAE - appeal of local property investment
remains strong
Ajman, 14th February 2008: The recently concluded R&R
Local Property Show - which, after several years of success in Dubai,
drew the curtain on its 1st Northern Emirates edition over the weekend
- was testimony to how well some of the Northern Emirates markets
have matured over the years - although some have forged ahead of
others. The show was held under the auspices of H.H. Sheikh Majid
Bin Saeed Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Head of the Amiri Court at the Ajman
Kempinski, Ajman.
"While Northern Emirates took time to take off in terms of
commercial property development, certain parts of it have done a
wonderful job, not only in terms of scale of developments but also
through innovation, creativity and focus on the middle income bracket,"
said Tessa Morris, Marketing Director, DSL Exhibitions. "We
are very pleased that The Local property Show has been able to contribute
to this process."
Speaking after the exhibition, Khurram Wahid, Director of Sales,
Chapal World - Platinum Sponsors of R&R, said: "The Show
was an absolute success for Chapal World. We were extremely pleased
by the way in which DSL Exhibitions organized the event. The turnout
of both the home buyers and real estate investors was tremendous
and well above our initial expectation. The credit for it goes to
the organizers."
Khurram added: "We have already confirmed our participation
in the upcoming Local Property Show in Dubai on March 14 & 15
where Chapal World shall continue to offer luxurious yet affordable
freehold properties to property buyers interested in high return
opportunities."
"The large number of visitors and the genuine interest shown
in all the projects in Ajman and the Northern Emirates is testament
to the many advantages of investing in real estate in this area",
commented Roger Wilkinson from www.ajmanproperty.com
Syed Z. H. Abedi from Goldcrest, also an exhibitor at the Show
said: "It was a well organized property show - the organizers
successfully managed to create mass awareness about the real estate
and property development in Northern Emirates, which attracted both
investors and end-users to the event.
The R&R Local Property Show, Northern Emirates was the first
dedicated real estate showcase focused on the Northern Emirates.
Also for the first time, major developers of projects in Ajman,
Ras Al Khaima and Umm Al Quwain gathered under one roof to showcase
their properties to the public.
Hundreds of properties were sold to an eager public and in some
cases, whole floors were being purchased by a single investor at
the Show. "There has been tremendous interest from local and
international investors," said Tessa.. Ajman and Umm Al Quwain
received the highest focus purely on the basis of the sheer number
of projects on offer, but there was also great interest in Ras Al
Khaimah's offerings as a viable investment opportunity for future
growth and real returns. There was also a visible demand for villas
in the Northern Emirates - a product that is presently being ignored
by developers in the region.
Exhibitors at the show included Chapal World, Goldcrest, BL Properties,
Abu Dhabi Estate Centre, Ajman Land Properties, Al Kubra Real Estate,
Property Investment House, Aspire Real Estate, Geo Property Brokers,
Midein Umm Al Quwain, Tricon Properties, Midex Property Developer,
Monarqe Properties and Investments, Northern Emirates Property,
Palm Real Estate LLC and several others.
