Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships To Fill Dubai Stadium
The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships is the regions only ATP World Tour 500 Series and WTA Premier 5 Event and has been hosted at the Dubai Tennis Stadium since its inception in 1993. 2012 will be the 20th anniversary of the men’s open and the 12th anniversary of the women’s open.
With the strongest ever line up of the world’s best tennis players heading to Dubai for the event and with 50,000 people expected to attend the championships to watch world’s top men and women compete for a winner’s cheque of US$2+ million, Dubai Tennis Stadium will once again be the most popular place in town from 20th of February to 3rd March of this year.
