ICFLIX to showcase region’s best Ramadan TV shows
For those who enjoy Arabic Tv shows during Ramadan this news will interest you. icflix, the Middle East and North Africa’s leading online streaming service will show seven new series during the Holy month of Ramadan.The list includes, Wesh Tany, Al Ahd, Al Sa’look, Yawmiyat Zoga Mafrusa Awy, Hawary Bucharest, Alf Leila we Leila and Khalil Allah, an animation series aimed at children.
“There is great demand for TV series during the month of Ramadan, as people spend more time at home. There will be action, drama, comedy and thriller. There will be something for everyone during this family bonding time,” said Carlos Tibi, CEO, icflix.
The recently announced series, Alf Leila we Leila will premiere exclusively on icflix for online streaming only. The series is based on the historically acclaimed fantasy folk tales, bringing to life the stories of treachery and nobility of the ruler Shehryar and his wife Scheherazade.
“Also the animation series Khalil Allah, will adhere to the spirit of the Holy month, which will aim to educate children and strengthen their knowledge of Islam as well as their Arabic language skills,” Tibi further added.

Alf Leila we Leila

Al Ahd
The series is set around the human race's lust for power and the willingness of some people to offer sacrifices and violate divinity in their race towards it, depicting the story of a big family living in a village, and using mythological elements to tell the family's story. Al Sa’look
The series follows a poor beggar living in a slum, who moves to work inside the mansion of a wealthy businessman. There, the businessman's daughter falls for the beggar, and events get complicated.
Yawmiyat Zoga Mafrusa
The series follows a married couple that work as journalists in the same place. An ideological conflict ensues between the couple after the 25th of January revolution, while the episodes reveal how they interact privately and publicly, and offer and observation of the patriarchal attitude of the ‘Eastern Man'.
