Human Appeal International
Human Appeal International (HAI) is a charitable, humanitarian, non-governmental organization established in 1984. It works in the fields of charity, development , specializes in Social and Educational Development, Health Care, and Emergency Relief. In addition to this, HAI holds consultative status in the United Nations Social and Economic Council, maintains an observer capacity in International Fund for Agriculture Development, and is a member of the International Council for Voluntary Associations. HAI has also carried out joint ventures with the United Nations Development Program, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for the Palestinian Refugees, and the United Nations High Commission for Refugees and has reached several memorandums of understanding with UNICEF and the AGFUND.Their aim is to help mainly the poor, needy, orphans and elderly persons who has been neglected in the society. The have handled projects like charitable, humanitarian and development which greatly reduced the sufferings of poor and needy people worldwide. They provided more than 850 water sources including wells or water tanks. The organization constructed 20 regular, secondary and vocational schools and 10 kindergartens in addition to 503 educational centers around the world. HAI constructed more than 30 hospitals and clinics in addition to 38 mobile clinics at sites of disasters and crises.
