Starting 08th March 2006,Austria will enchant Ski Dubai together with the whole Middle East into Austrian tradition during the Austrian Ski Week 2006.During this major event in Ski Dubai, the organizers with the support of the Austrian Tourism Board will present especially Styria’s famous ski resorts, the Styrian Spa Land and Austrian products embedded in a program of Austria’s rich heritage and culture.
The main goal of this event is to promote Austria as superior holiday and ski destination as well as to introduce Austrian products and companies and bring them together with local companies, carefully selected in accordance to the needs of the Austrian companies to ease the start of doing business in the UAE.
During the "Austrian Ski Week 2006" snowboarders will perform stunning jumps and shows, while ski acrobats will fill the audience with enthusiasm showing their incredible skills. The history of skiing will be revived by performers using authentic equipment from the origin of ski sports more than 100 years ago.
Traditional Austrian music and dance performances on the slope and in the presentation area will create an incomparable Austrian atmosphere. The days will be rounded up by typical après ski parties, where guests will be encouraged to join games and shows.
