Emirates Equestrian Centre
Emirates Equestrian Centre was established in 1983 to provide equestrian sports for the people of Dubai and is very much a part of the equestrian scene in the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East.Many Emiratis and expatriates have started their riding careers here and the EEC has become an established training ground for future success in the equestrian world We are a fully approved British Horse Society riding and training centre with qualified staff and cater for all levels of riding from novice to advanced. The main disciplines here are show jumping, dressage and now eventing, which is getting more popular in the UAE.
The EEC stables around 35 horses, and our extensive facilities over 80 acres, include air-conditioned stabling for 200 horses, 12 arenas, including an international and warm-up arena (both laid down with Martin Collins Poly Track) plus an indoor arena, a cross-country course with 21 fences, trial rides, two lunging rings, two walkers, a tack shop, coffee shop and changing rooms.
In total Emirates Equestrian Centre hosted thirty-two events in the 2006-07 season and with 500-plus pupils per week taking tuition and 180 livery and school horses/ponies to care for it has been a very busy season. The centre’s Manager, Paul Mc Auley would like to take this opportunity to thank patrons and staff for a very successful season.
The season here in the UAE runs from the middle of September to the middle of June, so whether you are a beginner or a serious competitor, Emirates Equestrian Centre has the complete package for all your equestrian needs.
