World Corporate Golf Challenge - UAE
The United Arab Emirates has been again selected to take part in the 2008 World Corporate Golf Challenge (WCGC).The winning corporate team of the Corporate Golf Challenge, UAE will automatically compete in the World Corporate Golf Challenge Final in Spain , representing the UAE and their company. The UAE’s qualifying event for the Regional Final will be either at Abu Dhbai Golf Course on 17th April or at The Montgomerie, Dubai on Thursday 24th April 2008 The World Corporate Golf Challenge Final will take place at La Manga Golf Club in Spain early July 2008– one of the 50 most exclusive golf destinations in the world.
The World Corporate Golf Challenge, UAE is open to any company or organisation based in the UAE, holding a business/company golf day in which 12 or more amateur players take part.
An organisation is defined as any company, society, charity or golf club.
To qualify for the 2008 challenge, your company golf day must be played before Friday, 11th April and must include an 18 hole golf competition.
All players must hold an official handicap and produce a current handicap certificate upon registration at the UAE Final.
One player of the participating team must be an employee of the host company.
The Tournament rules and regulations comply with the rules of golf and are sanctioned by the UAE Golf Association.
