The Dubai School of Government is a pioneering research and teaching institution established in the region focusing on public policy and management. It was established in 2004 under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The Dubai School of Government collaborates with international institutions such as Harvard University’s John F Kennedy School of Government and Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Singapore on research and teaching programs and to encourage the global exchange of views and experiences relating to public and government policy and practices, seeking to reinforce and advance the skills of the leaders and decision makers in the Arab region.In addition to research in public policy and management, the Dubai School of Government offers various programs that is from short courses that target public, private and non-government sector leaders to advanced training in public policy and management. The Dubai School of Government also facilitates policy forums where leaders and senior government officials from the region meet to discuss current issues and exchange knowledge and ideas.
