Madinat Al Arab, redefining Dubai waterfront
Nakheel, the UAE’s premier property developer, is all set to redefine Dubai’s waterfront. Madinat Al Arab is the first phase of construction of The Dubai Waterfront Company, a newly instituted venture by Nakheel that will develop the largest water front development in the world. As the first phase and focal point, Madinat Al Arab is an integral component to this new city. The appointment of Khaled Al Huraimel to the position of General Manager is key to the successful delivery of this magnificent project.’ Khaled Al Huraimel said ‘Madinat Al Arab will be the focal point of an outstanding new city in Dubai. Built on the last remaining waterfront in Dubai, the project will be heavily influenced by water, with a canal flowing through it and a major harbour and marina. We have the best architects and master planners working on this project, which will feature resorts, retail, commercial spaces, public spaces, a mix of residencies and an integrated transport network including light rail and a sophisticated road network. Located near to the new Jebel Ali Airport, Dubai Waterfront will be fully accessible on a local and international scale.’
