The word ‘Majlis’ in Arabic means gathering where a group of people come together, connect and make things happen. Creative Majlis is a global network of creative professionals pooling in their talents and skills to make a difference to the world, creatively. Based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates their membership is completely free and open to creative people from all over the world.The two founding members of the group, Mayura Sandeep and Farrukh Naeem are both advertising copywriters based in the UAE. Starting initially by getting together a group of writers who wished to write for social campaigns, Mayura and Farrukh widened the scope of their initiative to embrace the efforts of every creative individual who wished to contribute his or her talent for a good cause. Their main motive is to do more than push products and recycle special offers as creative people. To propel their power of persuasion as seasoned creative professionals towards making a positive difference to the world. With a common urge of heartfelt wish and ambition to pool our talents they try to make a positive difference in the communities.
