Dubai Heli Show
Dubai, the second largest of the seven United Arab Emirates is the main port and commercial centre of the country and a perfect location to combine business and entertainment. The Dubai Helishow 2006, is an exhibition organized keeping the fact in mind that the Middle East is developing into one of the leading markets for the helicopter industry with a growing demand for the latest technologies and services to address the specific requirements of the civil, public, defence and paramilitary sectors. The region has witnessed a large rise in expenditure on helicopter technology including military upgrades reflecting the strong economic growth in the Middle East.Prior to this the inaugural show that was held in 2004 attracted over 2,500 industry visitors representing 20 countries including high-powered key delegations from the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) countries. This year, the show will take place at the East Hall of Dubai Airport Expo from 5th to 7th December 2006 and will consist of indoor exhibits, VIP suite, restaurant and prayer room with access to the chalet line and static helicopter display area outside. There is the opportunity to demonstrate helicopters to potential buyers and a separate area will be designated for visiting aircrafts adjacent to the static display to allow easy access to the exhibition.
