The Canadian Business Council Dubai and the Northern Emirates (CBC), established on March 31, 1993, as a non-profit organization, endeavors to foster communication and network between Canada and other business people in the region, and to build awareness amongst the regions’ business community of the contribution that Canadians and Canadian goods, services and technologies have made in the development of the U.A.E.The CBC provides and excellent forum for assisting its members to increase their visibility and to develop more effective business relationships within the community. The CBC reaches these goals by organizing informative monthly events in Dubai, by publishing a quarterly newsletter, maintaining a website and by the publication and distribution within Dubai, the U.A.E. and elsewhere, of an annual Membership Directory. Membership is open to individuals and companies who are Canadian, or do business with Canada, or who have demonstrated an affinity towards Canada.
CBC members receive the Annual Membership Directory, membership card and LINK, a quarterly magazine published by the CBC. Membership profiles are posted on the CBC online directory, which contains all CBC members and is continually updated as new members join the CBC. Furthermore, members receive notification and invitation to all CBC hosted, organized and associated events. These events are either free of charge for CBC members or entrance fees are offered to members at a reduced rate. Finally, CBC members may advertise their discounted products and services or submit notices and announcements on the CBC Website (www.cbc-dubai.com) for the CBC Membership free of cost.
