The Friends of Arthritis Patients Society
The Friends of Arthritis Patients Society (FAPS) is a voluntary non-profit organization, working under the umbrella of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA), under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed al-Qassimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of the SCFA. FAPS aims to raise public awareness regarding Arthritis, help people cope better with the impact of arthritis on their lives, and to provide financial support where needed.Vision
A society aware of the symptoms, causes and most recent treatments for Arthritis.
Mission
Promoting health awareness regarding arthritis and helping people cope with the effects of arthritis in order to gain a better quality of life.
Aims
1. To raise public and government awarenss of arthritis.
2. To provide financial support to individuals and families unable to afford treatment costs.
3. To network with experts and health organizations to provide state of the art treatment quipment, facilities and research.
