In addition to hosting the colorful activities that are organised by countries from the different continents of the world, Global Village also offers a range of top quality facilities and services including provision of restaurants, shuttle transport services and a huge parking area that can accommodate thousands of vehicles.

Since the beginning, Global Village has witnessed a steady rise in the number of visitors - coming from the four corners of the world. And this number is still rising. At the same time, the number of participating countries has incredibly increased, clearly indicating the success that Global Village has achieved and hopes to continue achieving in the years to follow.
2009- Global Village attracted 4.4 million visitors.
2008- Global Village attracted 4.5 million visitors.
2007- Global Village attracted 4.2 million visitors in 59 days with 39 countries participating.
2006- With the operational period of 129 days and 40 countries participating, new attractions and facilities continued to fulfill visitor expectations and attracted 2.1 million visitors.
2005- With a new location and longer operation period, Global Village sustained its attraction. During its 10th Anniversary, 5 million visitors poured into the Village over 79 days.
2004- Global Village witnessed a record-breaking 5.2 million visitors, while 38 countries participated.
2003- Continuing on the path of progress, Global Village brought in 3.1 million visitors in 2003. Moreover, the number of participating countries was increased to 31.
2002- Global Village achieved extraordinary success with 2.33 million visitors taking part, while the number of pavilions rose to 28.
2001- Global Village attracted over 1.68 million visitors. Moreover, the number of participating countries reached 25.
2000- A total of 1.59 million visitors attended Global Village, while the number of pavilions increased to 22.
1999- The figure rose to 1.45 million visitors, while the number of participating countries remained at 20.
1998- The number of visitors, residents and tourists crossed 1.2 million, while the number of participating countries rose to 20.
1997- The number of Global Village visitors increased to 900,000 while the number of participating countries reached 18.
1996- Global Village started simply as a small site along the Dubai creek with small kiosks selling products and handicrafts from different countries. More than 500,000 visitors graced the Village during its first year.
