Celebrating ’Eid In Dubai’
’Eid in Dubai’ was a new social initiative launched in 2008 aimed at reviving the true Islamic values and Emarati traditions of the Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha celebrations. The festivities are meant to spread the true essence of giving and sharing between all residents of Dubai, regardless of their nationality and age. It’s a celebration to encourage the environment of peace and harmony that Dubai provides for all its visitors and residents.CELEBRATING ‘EID IN DUBAI’
Taking the festivities a step further, ‘Eid in Dubai’ plunged into the celebrations of culture and became the first-of-its-kind concept designed to make Dubai the first and foremost choice for holiday seekers looking to celebrate Eid. Eid is a traditional holiday that is celebrated twice a year – the first is called Eid al-Fitr and the second is called Eid al-Adha.
Both times, ‘Eid in Dubai’ shares the celebrations with one and all. Even shopping malls are filled with the spirit of Eid, where visitors can enjoy a fantastic shopping spree and get the best buys and gifts for their loved ones.
ENTERTAINMENT FOR ALL
As a festive celebration, ‘Eid in Dubai’ is filled with prizes and surprises for everyone. Events and activities are designed to cater to every age segment and have featured entertainment shows for children such as Barney’s Musical Castle and Noddy’s Treasure Map, and the critically acclaimed musical saga Return of the Phoenix by the Rahbani Brothers for theatre lovers.
Additionally, international concerts featuring a combination of Arab, Persian, and Asian stars add to the glitz of ‘Eid in Dubai’. To top it all, visitors are treated to a dazzling display of fireworks during the event.

That’s why every visitor, whether at the Dubai International Airport, a shopping mall or the main venues of the event, is greeted with a warm welcome and a wholehearted smile, both trademarks of Arabian hospitality.
