Al Naboodah Invitational 2010
The 2010 Al Naboodah Invitational is set to be the best yet! Hard to believe with a Pro-Am that has seen 60 European tour professionals compete in the last 2 years. Players such as 2008 European No 1 Robert Karlsson, Ryder Cup Stars Ian Poulter and Graeme McDowell, 2009 Volvo World Matchplay Champion Ross Fisher, the defending Qatar Masters Champion Alvaro Quiros, 1999 Dubai Desert Classic Champion David Howell and more.The impressive line up of players will continue into the 2010 Pro-Am with a number of players already confirmed to play; Ross Fisher, Graeme McDowell, Jeev Milkha-Singh and Steve Webster.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Date: Monday 25th January 2010
Venue: Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club
Tee times: 10.30 – 12.30
Format: - 2 Ball Better-ball Strokeplay
- 1 Professional and 1 Amateur will make up each pair
- 40 pairs in total
- ¾ Handicap allowance will apply to all amateurs
- Professionals will play for their own score and compete for the Charity Prize Fund
Professionals: Up to 48 European Tour and or PGA Tours professionals will each partner an amateur guest
Caddies: This is a walking tournament, all players will have a caddie
Prize Fund: - The charity prize fund will be AED500,000
- This purse will be divided between the top 5 pros and ties
- All cheques received by the winning professionals shall be for a charity of their choice
Spectators: Spectators are welcome
End of play: Play will be completed by 5:00pm
SPECTATORS
Attend the Al Naboodah Invitational 2010 at the stunning Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club and spend a day watching over 40 of Europe’s finest golfers. Many of who will have played in the 2009 Dubai World Championships.
Complimentary access will be available allowing spectators to get up close to the players as they compete in this relaxed yet competitive pro-am tournament. Although access is complimentary please apply for tickets by email to spectate@alnaboodahinvitational.com
On the 25th January 2010 the gates will open for spectators at 9.00am and play will conclude by 5.00pm. Parking with be available on site.
