15th Anniversary Gala of The Dubai Concert Committee
2011 will mark the 15th year of our commitment to provide high quality classical music concerts in Dubai and our contribution to the cultural life in Dubai. The idea to establish The Dubai Concert Committee was born by a group of classical music lovers during a gala dinner.We would like to commemorate this occasion and the benefits resulting from this initiative in form of a Gala Evening in 2011 and cordially invite you to celebrate with us!

Our Mission
The Dubai Concert Committee was established 1996 under the kind patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum to provide FREE classical music concerts.
We bring international professional musicians to Dubai, with an emphasis on quality of performance and an interesting and varied repertoire.
In each year’s programme, the Committee seeks to cover a range of composers, most periods of music, a selection of instruments and combinations, and musicians from several countries. Performances range in scale from soloists to chamber orchestras, and the period from the 12 th to the 21 st century.
Ten concerts are held in most years. They are usually scheduled for the early part of the week, and most are held at the Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre.
The Dubai Concert Committee is a not-for-profit organisation, all of whose members give their time free. We are the only organisation regularly bringing this kind of music to the public of Dubai.
