Eid Al Adha in Dubai
This is the second of the two most important religious festivals for Muslims. Eid-Al-Adha marks the culmination of the pilgrimage called hajj. The dates of the festival are again based on moon sightings and celebrations can extend from two to ten days.Most institutions are closed during the festivities but essential services are up and running throughout. Since the festive days are announced based on moon sighting, people need to be clued in on news to know the holiday dates.
During Eid-Al-Adha, you will find that all Muslims are dressed in their finest clothing. There is a concentrated effort during this time to ensure that no impoverished person goes hungry. People adopt charitable practices in their day to day life.
The days are filled with family get together and amazing events are put up by the malls in collaboration with the Dubai Government.

RAFFLES
With prizes totaling AED 1.4 million to be won, the ‘Eidyat Dubai’ promotion is being organized as part of the Eid Al Adha celebrations. As part of the promotion, twenty-eight winners will each take home a cash prize of AED 50,000 over a period of four days.
Deira City Centre will host the first raffle on November 16th, while Mirdif City Centre will host the second on November 17th, followed by Dubai Festival City on November 18th, and Mall of the Emirates on November 19th.
DINO LIVE Exhibition
This Eid in Dubai, take a trip down the pre-historic era!
A DINO LIVE Exhibition at Dubai Festival City takes visitors on a journey of dinosaurs through an exhibition, shows, character meet and greet, merchandising stands, and food stalls themed on dinosaurs and the Jurassic age.
The exhibition will take place at the Plug-Ins arena, in Dubai Festival City during the Eid-Al-Adha days.

EIDYAT PROMOTION
28 winners to each walk away with AED 50,000 cash prize
The Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment, an entity under the Department of Economic Development, has announced its shopping promotion from October 28th to November 20th with prizes totaling AED 1.4 million to be won. The ‘Eidyat Dubai’ promotion is being organized as part of the Eid Al Adha celebrations during ‘Eid in Dubai’ that will last for four days.
As part of the promotion, twenty-eight winners will each take home a cash prize of AED 50,000 over a period of four days. The initiative is part of DEPE’s efforts in promoting the retail sector during Eid Al Adha and providing shoppers an incentive to shop. Malls across Dubai are part of ‘Eidyat Dubai’ and raffle coupons are available on a purchase of AED 200.
“The ‘Eidyat Dubai’ promotion draws on the Eid value of sharing and this concept has been innovatively used to reward shoppers to add to their shopping and Eid experience. The Eid Al Adha edition of this year’s ‘Eid in Dubai’ holds lots of surprises for families and this promotion will definitely add to the festive
atmosphere,” said DEPE in a statement.
