Sebastian Vettel snatches the world title at the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
The 23 year old German, Sebastian Vettel drove into world glory to snatch the title from under the nose of Fernando Alonso at the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the Yas Marina Circuit. Vettel, the fastest driver on earth and the youngest world champion, made a dramatic finish in one of the most exciting seasons in the sport’s 60 years of history.
Vettel burst into tears as he carried the chequered flag and as the German anthem rang out at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi.
Hamilton and Jenson Button finished second and third respectively.
