Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Patron of the Arts Awards
With the awards, Dubai took the pioneering step to honour patrons of the arts from around the world for their valuable support in encouraging and strengthening the cultural scene of the Emirate. This award stands as a testimony to the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President & Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to strengthen Dubai’s position as a vibrant global city for culture and the arts.Dubai, through its creative community has become firmly recognised as the region’s centre for content exhibition. By offering a conducive environment for the arts, it is high time that it makes the transformation to one of content creation.
In this, the support of the patrons is invaluable. They inspire artists to invest their time and creativity into new artistic pursuits. Their sustained patronage ensures that the cultural scene flourishes by drawing in new talent and promoting original content creation.
The awards will further elevate Dubai’s international appeal as a cultural destination. In achieving this, I look forward to the continued and generous support of the patrons.
