Walk For Education 2012
In support of millions of children around the world who face tremendous obstacles in their pursuit of education or who are altogether unable to go to school, Dubai Cares encourages the UAE community to participate in its 3km Walk for Education 2012 on 17 February 2012 along Jumeirah Beach Road.This event presents a wonderful opportunity for members of the community to volunteer their time, enjoy fun activities with family and friends as well as make new friends.The walk will start at 9am and there will be lots of fun activities at the Jumeirah Beach Park afterwards.
The community’s active participation in the event will bring lots of changes in the education as a whole as it will help underprivileged, who wants to fulfill their dream of going to school.
To get an opportunity to become an active contributor to the event, UAE residents can register onsite at Jumeirah Beach Park on the day of the event between 8am and 9am. Interested organizations can also participate as a group by emailing Dubai Cares at info@dubaicares.ae indicating the organization’s name and number of participants.
