The Mobile Show Dubai
Middle East’s largest show for mobile technology, mobile apps & solutions, The Mobile Show, is set to take place on 17-18 April 2012 at Madinat Arena, Dubai, UAE. The inaugural two-day event will bring together the big names, the big ideas and the big opportunities for the first time to discuss the latest strategies, solutions and technologies in the world of mobile.Event organiser, Matthew Wallhead, General Manager of Terrapinn, said: "The advent of 4G networks and the prolific rise in smartphone capabilities are changing the ways we live, work, learn and play. This is creating an opportunity for all players in the mobile ecosystem to position themselves at the centre of many new industries; marketing, media and entertainment, healthcare and education. The size of these opportunities and the speed at which this is happening is undebatable. However, the business models are not clear and the ecosystem is not fully formed. The single biggest mission of The Mobile Show is to provide a platform and an environment to create this change."
The event will include a free-to-attend exhibition with over 45 exhibitors and a series of free seminars. It will run in-conjunction with a number of paid-to-attend conferences to suit all players in the mobile ecosystem; from app developers, to consumer brands, through to game developers, Telcos, broadcasters, banks, regulators, mobile tech experts, mobile technology vendors, and device manufacturers.
Wallhead said: "The exhibition is a great place to get an industry snap-shot, with some of the mobile industry leaders like Samsung, BlackBerry, and Nokia demonstrating the latest in mobile technology, and sharing ways to exploit the mobile platform by deploying cutting edge technologies, like augmented reality which will revolutionise the way customers interact with products and services."
The conference will host over 85 speakers from around the world across five sub-streams including Planet of the Apps, Mobile Advertising World, M-Entertainment, M-Health and MCommerce.
Ensuring that visitors walk away with a full understanding of the landscape, The Mobile Show will be co-located with The Internet Show. Both exhibitions will share the same floor space and are free for all to attend. The Internet Show will also host two of its own conferences, Social Media World and Online Retail World.
