AUD Welcomes Fall 2012 Applications
Getting to know a university isn’t just a matter of browsing the Internet, leafing through brochures or even chatting with the person next door. Meeting an admissions coordinator face-to-face is the best way to secure the information and insight that’s relevant to the student. As such, The Admissions Department at the American University in Dubai (AUD) is currently welcoming candidates who wish to apply to one of AUD’s 13 programs, and particularly to the newest additions the Bachelor of Arts in International Studies (B.A.I.S.), the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (B.S.C.S.), as well as the a Master of Education (M.Ed.) and a Master of Science in Construction Management (M.S.C.M.).AUD’s admissions coordinators are well versed on AUD’s programs and the kinds of career opportunities that have awaited fifteen graduations’ worth of AUD alumni. And their focus is on matching the student’s interests and aspirations with what AUD has to offer. “The Admissions team is ready to provide quality service and accurate information to all the candidates who are keen to pursue their studies at AUD”, explains Mrs. Tala Makhlouf, Director of Admissions at AUD. “It always gives us great pleasure to assist our candidates while applying to any of AUD’s academic programs and to help them make their transition as smooth as possible.”
Undergraduate programs offered at AUD include: Architecture (B.Arch.); Business Administration (B.B.A.) with majors in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, and Marketing Communications; Communication and Information Studies (B.C.I.S.) with majors in Digital Production and Storytelling, and Journalism; Computer Science (B.S.C.S.) with tracks in Databases, Game Design and Development, and Network Security; Engineering (B.S.) with programs in Civil, Computer, Electric, and Mechanical Engineering; Interior Design (B.F.A.) with an emphasis in Integrated Computational Design; International Studies (B.A.I.S.) with tracks in Middle Eastern Studies, and Cultural Studies; Visual Communication (B.F.A.) with majors in Advertising, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Photography, and Studio Art .
Graduate programs offered at AUD include: Business Administration (M.B.A.) with concentrations in Finance, and Marketing; Construction Management (M.S.C.M.); and Education (M.Ed.) with tracks in Primary Education, and Secondary Education.
The university also offers an Intensive English Language Program (I.E.L.P.) and a Certificate in Middle Eastern Studies.
