Inaugural Transurban International Conference
Set to take place on 29 September to 3 October 2012 in Madinat Arena, Madinat Jumeirah Dubai UAE, Inaugural Transurban International Conference is the first ever conference to outline problems with urban areas that are not properly integrated, the trends that are now changing the planning context and the solutions that are being shown to work.The four day conference will debate a wide range of industry topics from coping with scattered land development to the cost of urban sprawl, increased urban growth and government adoption of carbon reduction goals. It features leading speakers from the global urban planning and transport sector including Robert Cervero, Jan Gehl and Edward Blakely and is designed to enable delegates to share best-practices and participate in interactive workshops discussing Transit Oriented Development (TOD), Pedestrian Oriented Development (POD) and Green Oriented Development (GOD) amongst others.
