Dubai Chamber explores investment opportunities in Kazakhstan
The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is organising Kazakhstan, the Country Focus Briefing, to explore new trade links in collaboration with Kaznex Invest, the Kazakhstan National Agency for Export and Investments, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kazakhstan.The briefing session scheduled on Sept 11 at the Chamber premises will be presided over by Hamad Buamim, Director General, Dubai Chamber, with high profile guests including Askar Mussinov, Kazakhstan Ambassador to the UAE and Sabr Yessimbekov, President Kazakhstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and will be attended by a number of businessmen and investors from Dubai and Kazakhstan.
Launched in 2010, the Dubai Chamber initiative of the Country Focus Briefing is organised in association with embassies, consulates, business councils, trade centres and representative offices of target countries.
The main objective of the briefing is to introduce business opportunities in one chosen market to Dubai’s business community so as to empower them to explore emerging export destinations, develop relationships with relevant trade bodies as well as enhance their competitiveness in the global business arena.
So far, the initiative has brought into focus new markets like Chile, Switzerland, Japan, Turkey Brazil, Ethiopia, Australia and the Netherlands.
