UAE Cosmetics Market Value To Reach US$ 140 Million By 2014
New study reveals that use of caviar for beauty purposes is still low in the regionAn international firm has revealed that the UAE cosmetics market value is expected to reach US$ 140 million by 2014.
Seagull, the global specialized cosmetics firm, has also disclosed that the UAE organic cosmetics industry witnessed a growth of 30 per cent in 2012. Further, quoting from a recent study, Seagull has said that the use of Caviar as beauty aid is very low in the UAE; the use of caviar as food is 100 times higher than as beauty enhancer.
The study has highlighted that globally caviar is being increasingly regarded as an important beauty treatment enhancer by cosmetics professionals who use it in facial, hair and skin treatments, reminiscent of Botox treatments when they were first discovered.
The same study also reveals that eating fish, sea fruits and caviar are very beneficial to the skin, serving as a definite shield against early skin aging.
Ratiba Ayad, Seagull said: “Caviar empowers body cells and protects them from flabbiness and aging. It is also beneficial in treating dark circles around the eyes.”
Speaking at the launch of Perle & Caviar, Ayad said: “The new product contains both pearls and caviar, and we anticipate that it will be a revolutionary solution in skincare industry. These recent studies have changed the perception among many cosmetics companies and some have started considering caviar as the ultimate beautify treatment element.”
Perle & Caviar is now considered one of the leading skincare solutions worldwide, being used by global cosmetics centres as it helps reducing the skin impurities that cause acne. It also contributes to a face lifting process, in addition to its vital moisturizing and nutrition elements.
“This product has been tried in Institute Arnaud in Paris and it shows compatibility with all skin types and medical conditions. It leads to tightening of skin by 82 percent and restoration in skin structure by 62 percent, plus a high softness by 50 percent. It also helps reduce wrinkles by 51 percent,” Ayad said.
The study explains the extraordinary effect of the caviar through fatty acids “Omega 3” which mainly contribute in tightening the skin by providing strength, cohesion, nutrition and vitamins that produce a more youthful skin texture. This product helps developing the skin’s natural defense antioxidant and improving moisture barrier.
The pearl also includes skin restoration elements, mainly in what is called “Mother-of-pearl” as it contains sodium salts responsible for improving hydro lipid balance, silica salts, which stimulate cell regeneration and trace elements, that boost cell metabolism and provide a source of energy for skin plus A, B, C and E vitamins which combat free radicals and boost and revitalize skin.
The final report of the study concludes that both caviar and pearl contain the key elements needed for skin restoration. The report adds that caviar continues to be popular as both food and beauty agent.
