Property Recruitment on Rise in Dubai as Market Recovers
In the clearest signs of the recovery in Dubai property market, Better Homes, looks to increase its agent ranks by 150, having already added over 100 agents in the last 12 months. Better Homes has launched a recruitment portal to handle the influx of resumes it has attracted."The demand from the market is there, and has been for some time," commented CEO of Better Homes Ryan Mahoney. "We are matching what our customers want, and that is more agents on the ground. We have 250 agents in both Residential & Commercial - but the market is showing the need for more."
Head of Human Resources, Partho Bhattacharya, indicated Better Homes has received over 10,000 CVs for a range of roles over the last 12 months. "Agents and entrepreneurial minds are seeing the turnaround in the market, and we have received more CVs in the past year than in 2011 and 2012 combined".
Brandon Wright, lead recruiter for Better Homes, has conducted over 1,000 face to face interviews in 2012. "There is definitely a growing interest from a range of professions who are turning to real estate", commented Brandon. "The launch of the new recruitment portal was a necessary next step in handling the volume that we experience."
Better Homes continues to strengthen its leadership to position the agency for growth as the market recovers, with the recent appointment of Rami Abi Faraj as Head of Residential Sales and Leasing and Sandrine Loureiro as Manager of Commercial Sales and Leasing.
