RTA to Launch its Auction of Distinctive Plate Numbers November 7
The Licensing Agency at the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in cooperation with Dubai International Motor Show 2013 which is held November 5-9 at Dubai World Trade Center will launch auction No. (81) for distinctive plate numbers to take place on November 7 with more than 90 plate numbers for vehicles. Mohammad Abdul Kareem Nemat, Director of Vehicles Licensing at the RTA’s Licensing Agency stated that the Authority’s participation with its coming auction and for the first time in Dubai World Trade Center in cooperation with Dubai International Motor Show 2013 comes due to the importance of strengthening strategic cooperation between the Authority and the World Trade Center and to enhance its presence during the International Motor Show, which takes place once every two years and has a wide range of visitors from both inside the country or abroad, which reflects the many positive aspects to participate by contributing significantly and effectively in presenting the Licensing Agency’s services, and educating the public and visitors about the various services provided by the Authority, in addition the participation will increase the revenue and the rationalization of expenditures.He added, the next auction will include various plate numbers which will gain the attention of public since it combines the 2-digit, 3-digit, 4-digit and the 5-digit numbers for the G, H, I, K, N, M, L, J categories which will contribute in meeting the demand and desire of customers who are interested in acquiring distinctive plate numbers, stressing further that the auction is an opportunity for the public to be present and participate since it will have a large turnout from the people of various segments of society due to the fact that it will be comprehensive and will achieve their aspirations and desires in the acquisition of distinctive plate numbers, moreover, auctions provides the opportunity to achieve greater competition amongst the public to get a distinctive plate number. And regarding the mechanism for participating in the auction, he said that tomorrow Sunday registration will open and continues till the day of the auction by visiting the customer service centers of the Authority in the Emirate of Dubai, or by registering through the website www.rta.ae, also a 25000 dirham refundable check should be submitted to take part in the auction.
