The 10th Almas Bazar Exhibition begins March 11
The 10th edition of the Almas Bazar Exhibition is all set to be launched in Dubai under the slogan "Arab Women's Ultimate Destination." The event will bring participants from the Arabian Gulf region and the Middle East, and will also be attended by VIP ladies, wives of ambassadors, artists, trade marks' owners, and fashion and beauty experts.
The exhibition that will take place from March 11 to 13 at The Address Dubai Mall hotel, aims to focus on Arab women's needs and interests concerning: fashion, beauty, accessories, and perfumes. The opening day will take place under the presence of Sheikha Fatima Bint Hasher Bin Dalmouk, President of Sawaed Al Khair Foundation, besides the attendance of media representatives, specialists and all interested people in women's exhibitions.
Speaking on this occasion, Zainab Iskanader, Head of the organising committee for Almas Bazar Exhibition, said, "The 10th edition of Almas Bazar focuses on empowering the Emirati, Gulf, and Arabian Women in business field, to prove that they are able to compete with many famous trademarks."
She added that the exhibition highlights the status of women, whom the government has always been keen on empowering and supporting as an important part of the society who has a role to play in its development.
Dalal Al Bahrani, General Supervisor of the Exhibition, said, "As we finalise preparations for the exhibition, we expect that this edition will be highly successful because of its unique participants. Beside Almas Bazar is also celebrating ten years of success in highlighting the Arab woman achievements in business."
Participants of the exhibition are coming from various foreign countries, such as: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Lebanon, and Canada. And in the new part of this edition, productive families will participate in collaboration with Sawaed Al Khair Foundation. As Almas Bazar is also concerned with women's health, medical and wellness centres will also be a part of it.
The first edition of Almas Bazar that was launched in 2000 had witnessed hundreds of centres and participants from the field of beauty, fashion designs, and perfumes, besides thousands of visitors. The last edition, in 2015, recorded 200 ladies, 30 countries, and 2000 visitors. The current edition, which will see the participation of 70 exhibitors, expects to attract more than 5000 visitors.
