Amina Al Tayer hails directives of Sheikha Fatima on participation in celebrations of Emirati Women’s Day
Sheikha Amina bint Humaid Al Tayer, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Women's Association, has commended the directives of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF) and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood (Mother of the Nation) on marking Emirati Women's Day on 28th August.
She added that the event, which falls on 28th August each year, "Is an important occasion to promote the status and the role of Emirati women in national development."
Al Tayer said that the directives of Sheikha Fatima on the allocation of the day to celebrate Emirati Women's Day annually "is a noble gesture that reflects the state values and the leadership’s interest in the women empowerment."
