Dubai Exports was established to provide local exporters with the services required to enter or expand into foreign markets. The Dubai Exports service model includes the provision of trade information, branding advice, financial, legal and foreign trade representation and access to potential buyers. An important role for Dubai Exports is to represent the exporter community as their spokesperson in front of governmental and semi-governmental agencies. Through its network of overseas offices DED provides Dubai’s exporters with a range of ‘on the ground’ export facilitation and generation services. The strategic objectives of Dubai Exports are to:
• Maximize the value of exports from Dubai and enhance industrial sector contribution in the Gross Domestic Product
• Widen Dubai’s exporter base by the support of business in the production/lateral expansion of internationally competitive domestic goods
