The National Bank of Abu Dhabi has made it convenient for its customers to bank while they shop at the malls. This is being facilitated through the new kiosk that was inaugurated at the Mega Mall Sharjah and branded as NBAD DIRECT.

The kiosk is operational round the clock and 7 days a week and is positioned as a retail shop like any other shop in the mall. The purpose of the kiosk is so that the customers do not need to go to the bank branches for banking purposes and they can do the same at leisure at the kiosks while shopping.

Khaleed Deemas, head of retail banking said "we have an NBAD ATM, an internet kiosk to do online banking and a hotline to connect to any NBAD customer service centre. This will enable our customers to do all their banking activities like cash withdrawal, cash deposit, utility bill payment, transfer, credit card payment etc. additionally we have stationed dedicated staff to do their transactions and provide information to customers as and when required."

The National Bank of Abu Dhabi already has the largest network of branches and ATM's in the UAE. NBAD DIRECT kiosks at Mega Mall is the first one in the series of kiosks that the bank intends to set up across UAE during the year.
