80s Rewind is coming to Dubai on Friday 1st March 2013 with a fantastic new line up of 80’s artists - Rick Astley, A.B.C, Heaven 17, Howard Jones and T’Pau playing together for the first time in Dubai for one incredible night. GEM [Global Event Management], a leading live event and communications agency in the region, announced they are bringing 80’s Rewind to Festival Park at Festival City in the first week of March 2013. GEM has previously brought to Dubai the successful ‘Here and Now: Best of the 80’s concert at Meydan last year with the unprecedented line-up of Boy George, Belinda Carlisle, Paul Young, Kid Creole and the Coconuts, Curiosity Killed the Cat and The Real Thing. 80s Rewind 2013 will feature eighties icon Rick Astley playing the event, singing many of his number one hits, including the infamous, ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’, ‘Together Forever’ and ‘Whenever You Need Somebody’. As well as Rick, we have ABC and Heaven 17, two incredible eighties bands with still cherished hits including ABC’s iconic ‘The Look of Love’ and ‘Poison Arrow’ and Heaven 17’s dance classic ‘Temptation’ If that wasn’t enough we also have Howard Jones, ‘What is Love’’ and ‘I’d Like To Get To Know You Well’ and T’Pau, famous for their 80’s anthems ‘Heart and Soul’ and ‘China In Your Hand’. The bands and solo artists are still wowing audiences around the world and are always on high rotation on radio playlists in most major countries around the globe. To end an amazing evening, we will be having the best school disco in town for those people who just can’t get enough of the music.
