Emirates National Oil Company joins hands with Dubai Cares

In support of Dubai Cares’ overarching mission aimed at positively impacting the lives of children and young people through education, the Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), to sponsor the 6th edition of ‘Volunteer Emirates’, an initiative to provide essential school packs to underprivileged children enrolled in all National Charity Schools in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman.

Speaking at the MOU signing ceremony, Abdulla Ahmed Al Shehhi, Director of Business Support Department at Dubai Cares said: “We at Dubai Cares are proud to extend our partnership with ENOC whose contribution is extremely valuable for us to reach many underprivileged children and young people to elevate the level of education that they need to prosper. With the start of the new school year, Dubai Cares’ 6th Edition of Volunteer Emirates will enable more than 10,850 boys and girls to take a progressive step towards their future, by positively influencing their learning, development, enjoyment and achievement. Thanks to the generous support of partners like ENOC, who truly believe in the transformative power of education, that we continue to turn our goals into reality.”

H.E. Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO, ENOC, said: “We, at ENOC, believe in the power of identifying and forging long term partnerships to enhance education, innovation and creativity. Our recent collaboration with Dubai Cares is a great opportunity that will allow us to contribute to, and enrich the lives of children, and through our sponsorship of ‘Volunteer Emirates’, we hope to empower underprivileged children, and help them unlock their potential. We believe in giving back to our community in and reinforcing the values of the ‘Year of Giving’ initiative, launched by the His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.”

The MOU was signed at ENOC’s Headquarters by H.E. Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO, ENOC, and Abdulla Al Shehhi, Director of Business Support Department at Dubai Cares.
