Poldark series 4 to premiere exclusively in the Middle East on BBC First only on OSN from 11 June
The hotly anticipated Poldark returns for its fourth series, from 11 June at 21:00 UAE, exclusively to BBC First on channel 215 on OSN, the Middle East’s leading entertainment network. The BAFTA-award winning period-drama series resumes with Prime Minister Pitt (Edward Bennett) calling a general election resulting in uncertainty gripping the country. Episode one is packed full of drama as we see Ross Poldark (Aiden Turner) watching on as Cornwall suffers under the power of Truro’s MP, George Warleggan (Jack Farthing); the Enyses contemplate having a child; Morwenna (Ellise Chappell) uses Osborne’s (Christian Brassington) affair with her sister Rowella (Esme Coy) to keep the reverend’s advances at bay; and Demelza seeks to reconcile rival local Lords Falmouth and Basset.
The fourth series draws on Winston Graham’s sixth and seventh Poldark books ‘The Four Swans’ and ‘The Angry Tide’.
