With an exclusive play zone dedicated to them, Toddlers at the Modhesh Fun City are being provided a world of their own this summer. Located in the heart of the city at Dubai World Trade Centre, the Modhesh Fun City is a star attraction of the grand summer fiesta and essentially the nerve centre of the action and fun offering a dream world to the kids. The toddlers play area which was much smaller last year turned out to be immensely popular with parents as well as the little ones hence this year an entire hall has been dedicated to a plush play area exclusively to cater to the toddlers. In view of the popular demand the entire Hall No. 3 of Dubai International Convention Center (Dubai World Trade Center) has been converted into a Toddlers’ Play Zone.

It’s for the first time that such a huge area has been alloted to the under twos. As can be seen from the response so far this has been a welcome move and toddlers are having a ball of a time at the sprawling facility. Offering a Ball Pool, Soft Play Zone, Kids Play Ground and Mini Stage for competitions and games, the toddlers are sure to have a gala time in this dedicated zone.

This specially designed zone for toddlers offers safe play areas with soft floor and colourful attractive playing facilities for the little ones. Careful design and planning have ensured that the facility offers a safe and secure environment so the parents can rest assured that their young ones are in safe hands. Children’s favourite ball pool combined with a huge play area is the main attraction in this zone. It is also equipped with a resting area which has mini beds for the little ones to relax. Then there is a drawing area that consists of black boards, white boards and additional materials to develop where children can doodle to their heart’s content.

A very interesting addition is the Inflatable area with two inflatables (not the same as those placed in Modhesh Fun City Inflatable Zone) meant for younger children. The Construction Area and Kitchen Area provide plastic and mechanical toys for kids to play with. The innovative play area also provides slides and mini rock climbing for the adventurous toddlers. Children love animals and the Al Aab Corner provides their favourite animal shaped mini rides and see-saws.

A well-stocked Book Corner provides story books in English and Arabic. All in all it’s a place where the kids can spend hours together without missing home. The Al Marmum Corner offers daily competitions where kids have a chance to win prizes and free drinks. On weekends, participants can win video cassettes of Casper & Star wars. The Kellogg’s stands offers free cereal (Frosties or Cocos) with milk on weekends.

One can enter the Toddler Zone from Modhesh Fun City itself, however very soon Gate No 3 will also be open to allow direct access for the little ones who wish to head out straight to this zone. Some more activities will be added to the hall soon to provide greater variety and even more fun for the little ones.

The 10-week long DSS, which opened with the Ice Surprises week on June 21, continues with the weekly themes of Art Surprises, International Food Surprises, Adventure Surprises, Cartoon Surprises, Nature Surprises, Knowledge Surprises, Flower Surprises, Heritage Surprises, and concludes with Back-2-School Surprises on September 1.
