The Tiger Woods Dubai, an exclusive residential golf community development and a member of Tatweer, today announced it has signed an agreement with world renowned French Chef Guy Savoy to open a signature restaurant at The Hotel in The Tiger Woods Dubai, a luxury boutique hotel in the exclusive 55-million sq. feet golf community development.

Marking Guy Savoy’s debut in the Middle East, the elegant fine dining restaurant will be a key component of the AED600-million The Hotel. Offering breathtaking views of the Al Ruwaya golf course, the first to be designed by Tiger Woods, the world’s number one golfer, The Hotel is scheduled for completion in Q4 2010 and will feature the acclaimed aesthetics of Lebanese designer Elie Saab in its interiors.

Guy Savoy is the head chef and owner of the eponymous Guy Savoy restaurant in Paris and sister restaurant in Las Vegas. The Paris restaurant, which has consistently garnered three Michelin stars every year since 2002, is ranked amongst the top 50 restaurants in the world.

The 360,000 sq. feet boutique hotel will boast a rooftop restaurant and a three-meal casual dining outlet, in addition to an expansive ballroom. The Hotel will target top-tier clientele with its 90 suites and 14 bungalows, in sizes varying from 1,600 to 9,500 sq. feet, as well as one of Dubai’s most exquisite spas and a 10,000 sq. feet oasis-style swimming pool.

Scheduled for completion in 2009, The Tiger Woods Dubai will additionally host a professionally-staffed golf academy, a 145,000 sq ft clubhouse, a high-end destination spa, 22 palaces, 75 mansions, 100 luxury villas, and premium community service facilities.
