(18 May 2010)

Emirates Holidays is offering a range of tailor-made packages to Japan’s dynamic metropolis following the launch of Emirates airline’s direct flights from Dubai to Tokyo.

John Felix, Senior Vice President of Emirates Holidays said, “Tokyo is one of the most vibrant and fascinating cities in the world. East meets West within a deeply rooted traditional culture, offering a unique mix of sights and sounds. Emirates Holidays is delighted to have Tokyo among the wide choice of destinations it has on offer. And with the launch of Emirates’ direct flights to the city, we have put together a range of special packages that’s sure to make Tokyo a favourite destination among our clients.”

Destination Tokyo

Tokyo is one of the world’s most exciting and dynamic capital cities. Perhaps best known for its pop culture, quirky fashion and cutting edge technology, Tokyo also has a traditional side that is just waiting to be explored. Visit the Imperial Palace; the Edo-Tokyo Museum of Japanese History; or the observation deck of the Tokyo Tower, the world’s tallest self-supporting steel tower, for stunning views across the city.

Anything is possible in Tokyo and everything runs like clockwork. It’s a shopper’s paradise, offering luxury goods in Ginza to electronics in Akihabara. It is also home to over 100,000 eating places, including the finest sushi and sashimi in the world. For nightlife, head to Shinjuku for some of the city’s top restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

Emirates Holidays is offering packages to Tokyo from Dubai starting from AED 7,665 per person at the Prince Park Tower Tokyo Hotel in a Standard Room; AED 9,850 per person at the Peninsula Tokyo in a Deluxe Room; AED 9,930 at the Park Hyatt in a Standard Park Room; and AED 10,345 at the Conrad Tokyo in a Standard Room. Each package includes return Economy Class flights with Emirates airline, three nights’ accommodation on twin-sharing basis, breakfast, a Tokyo “Morning Tour” (pick up and drop off at the hotel available for a minimal additional charge) and return coach transfers from and to Narita airport. Airport departure taxes are excluded.

Offers are valid until 28th August 2010.

Skywards members will receive up to 20 per cent bonus miles when they book these packages. They can also redeem their miles for Skywards Gift Vouchers, which can be used towards payment of exclusive packages from Emirates Holidays. Terms and conditions apply.
