Emirates NBD Offers Payment Facilities For DNRD Services At Dubai International Airport
(16 April 2011)
Special pay offices set up in terminal one and three.

Emirates NBD, a leading bank in the region, announced today that its pay offices at terminals one, two and three of Dubai International Airport, will now offer payment facilities for selected services offered by Dubai Naturalisation and Residency Department (DNRD).

This is in addition to the foreign currency exchange services already being offered by Emirates NBD’s pay offices across the three terminals at Dubai Airport. Four Emirates NBD pay offices have been set up at the airport bringing to 13 the total number of pay offices across the three airport terminals and Port Rashid.

The pay offices will facilitate UAE nationals and expatriate residents to pay for selected DNRD services including visa amendment, e-gate, e-Dirham and other DNRD stickers. The Emirates NBD pay offices are situated at areas ’B’ and ’D’ of the departures section in Terminal one, and at the pre-immigration area in the arrivals section in both terminals one, two and three.

"It is essential to ensure DNRD services that affect a person’s entry into the UAE or travel inside the country, have been paid for and duly renewed before departure or re-entry," said Mohammed Al Falasi, Sr. Vice President, Head of Direct Sales & Alternative Channels, Emirates NBD. "Special Emirates NBD pay offices have been set up at key points within terminals one and three, making it convenient for passengers travelling through the airport to ensure these payments have been made. This initiative is in line with Emirates NBD’s customer-centric approach that seeks to provide customers with greater ease and convenience in financial services."

Passengers departing through terminal one can use the Emirates NBD pay offices to pay for new e-gate cards, renew existing cards, visa amendment from transfer of visit to residence, buying e-Dirham or other DNRD stickers and silver NOL cards. In addition, UAE nationals can also use the payment facility to pay for their passport renewal including paying the photograph charges.

The Emirates NBD pay offices at the arrivals section of terminal one and three will also accept payments for ’Visa on arrival,’ including printing charges and amendment of visa.

Emirates NBD and Dubai Airports have been working together for more than 37 years, since the bank set up its first counter in the departures area in the early 1970s. Payment for DNRD services is the latest facility to be offered by Emirates NBD pay offices at Dubai International Airport. Last year, the bank expanded the pay offices network at Dubai Airports to 12, in addition to facilitating GCC residents arriving in the UAE via Dubai, to collect their e-stickers from these offices.
