Dubai Fashion 2013, the region’s top glamour event is all set to wow visitors at The Dubai Mall on midnight Friday by staging its unique Midnight Fashion event, as part of the 18th edition of Dubai Shopping Festival.
The Midnight Fashion show will truly showcase “Dubai at its Best” as it steps up the excitement in the last weekend of DSF. It will be followed on Saturday, February 2 by the final event of Dubai Fashion, the “Biggest Makeover” that will also take place at The Dubai Mall.
Dubai Fashion 2013 is organized by Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment (DEPE), an agency of the Department of Economic Development, and the organizer of Dubai Shopping Festival, in association with The Dubai Mall, a Strategic Partner of DEPE’s Events and Festivals for the Year 2013.
The opening event of the series – Express Fashion – the first-ever fashion show on a moving train in the region, had already set the tone for Dubai Fashion 2013 after it took place to rave reviews on Wednesday, January 23rd, onboard a special Dubai Metro train. Soon after came “The Street Catwalk”, the second of the series of unique shows under Dubai Fashion, featuring more than 100 professional and amateur models showcasing the beautiful and exciting creations of local and international designers.
In a first for the region, the Midnight Fashion show will focus on haute couture styles featuring top global fashion brands at The Dubai Mall in partnership with Galeries Lafayette. Eight female and two male models will showcase the latest creations in stock at Galeries Lafayette from such illustrious brands as Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren Jean Collection, Sonia Rykiel, Karen Millen, Christian Lacroix, Red Valentino, Missoni, Saadig Voltaire, Diesel, Reiss, Poca Polka, Kalaeidoscope, Pinko, Paul K and Agnes B.
