At the end of the third day of play at the OMEGA Dubai Desert Classic, the top of the leader board included players from Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America at one of the most hotly contested editions of popular golf tournament.
Scotland’s Stephen Gallacher ended the round at an impressive 21 under par and enters the final day with a three-stroke lead.
Vice President and International Sales Director Mr. Raynald Aeschlimann and other members of OMEGA’s management team hosted one of the brand’s golfing ambassadors, S. Y. Noh, along with members of the media in the title sponsor’s hospitality chalet overlooking the 9th and 18th greens of the Emirates Golf Club.
The excitement of the four-day tournament will continue into the fourth and final round on Sunday as Stephen Gallacher works to retain his position and hold off the challenges of his nearest rivals, Richard Sterne of South Africa, Thorbjorn Olesen of Denmark, Chile’s Felipe Aguilar, and Indian star Jeev Mikha Singh.
The winner of this year’s OMEGA Dubai Desert Classic will claim not only the tournament’s championship trophy and cheque but will be presented with an extraordinary timepiece by OMEGA – the stunning Seamaster Aqua Terra Annual Calendar.
