evian Launches New "Baby & Me"Video

evian, the natural mineral water brand from the French Alps, holds the global debut today of the “Baby & ME” film, its newborn worldwide brand campaign. Signed “Live young as always,” the new video reaffirms evian’s vision of youth: a positive and universal value, within each and every one, whatever the age.

The new video commercial will have a simultaneous launch on digital platforms in selected countries such as France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Russia, Ukraine, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan and United Arab Emirates on April 21. Specifically in the UAE, the video premiere’s at evian’s “Live Young” playground at Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates.

Baby & ME – the film

Following the huge success of the world’s most viewed advertising video “Roller Babies” and the “Baby Inside” with its 50,000 baby dancers, evian is once again offering an exciting and engaging video campaign.

The opening scene shows a man walking down the street and sees a reflection of himself but as a baby. Several people around him also have the same bewildering experience.

Amazed by what’s looking back at them, the characters have fun with their “babyfied” reflections, symbolizing connection to inner youth, feeling of freedom, and pure spontaneity. The playing turns into dancing accompanied by the upbeat “Here Comes the Hotstepper” especially remixed for evian by French electronic music producer Yuksek.

The video also features the babyfied tennis ace Maria Sharapova and talented golfer Melissa Reid.

True to its “Live Young” spirit, evian installed playgrounds - set amidst the French Alps background, with see-saw and swings to be enjoyed by babies from 18 years old and above in Mall of the Emirates (until Apr 28) and Dubai International Financial Centre (May 5-9). The see-saw and swings are equipped with a snow-making machine adding more fun to the playtime – the more you play the more snow you get.

Playgrounds and Babyfier teams will be dotted around Dubai, namely, at: Mall of the Emirates (until April 28); Dubai International Finance Centre (5th-9th May); and, The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence (Apr 26-27 & May 3-4).

Baby & Me App

This May, the special application to babyfy will be available on evian’s facebook page www.facebook.com/evianMiddleEast. Thanks to advanced facial recognition software, any face portrait uploaded will be “babyfied” and can be easily shared with friends and family.
