An Abu Dhabi-based Lebanese national has become the latest winner of Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire’s draw. Mr. Fawaz El Hindi’s ticket no. 3212 in Series 148 was drawn at Sheikh Rashid Terminal in Dubai International Airport, where the fifty-six year old had bought tickets for three years without luck.
“I couldn’t believe this!” said an ecstatic Mr. El Hindi, who became the 148th winner of Dubai Duty Free’s highly popular US$ 1 million draw which was first introduced in 1999.
A Customer Relationship Management Director at Tabreed, a National Central Cooling Company in Abu Dhabi added, “I’ve been buying Millennium Millionaire tickets for the last three years, including Double Millionaire but my perseverance has finally paid off this time and I thank Dubai Duty Free for making this happen.”
Following the Millennium Millionaire’s draw, Dubai Duty Free senior officials headed by the Executive Vice Chairman, Colm McLoughlin has given three lucky travelers flying through Dubai International Airport a Ramadan cheer after picking the brand new winners of a luxury car in Dubai Duty Free’s world-famous Finest Surprise Promotion.
A Pakistani national, Shahab Ahmed Khan emerged as the lucky winner of the top of the range Mercedes Benz S500 after his ticket no. 0855 in Series 1537 was drawn first.
Elated after hearing the news, Mr. Khan, a forty-six year old businessman from Karachi said, “What an amazing surprise, I never win this big in my whole life. Words are not enough to express my happiness and gratitude to Dubai Duty Free.”
The second lucky winner was Hecking Willi, a German national from Niederkrüchten, Germany who won the latest model of Porsche Panamera 4 Platinum Edition in Series 1535 with ticket no. 0204. A sixty-one year old CEO and Managing Director of Saserath Munzinger was equally excited with his win being a long-time participant to Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise Promotion for six years now.
While an American national, Mr. Johnny Keith Hammons from Downsville, Los Angeles in California holder of ticket no. 0060 in Series 216 to win a Ducati Streetfighter 848, was declared as the third winner of the day, is unavailable for comment and will be pleasantly surprised when he hears of this good news.
Right after the draw a presentation to previous motorbike winner took place.
Mr. Bhupesh Malhotra, a Dubai-based Canadian national who won his dream motorbike in Series 215, was presented with his winning Ducati Streetfighter 848.
Accompanied by his wife Mrs. Zabeen Malhotra, he said; “I am thrilled to finally receive my winning motorbike and I thank Dubai Duty Free for this wonderful gift.”
“I hope next time I will win my dream car,” added Mr. Malhotra who just bought a Finest Surprise ticket for a Bentley car.
