Emirates Post Group And Emirates Transport Discuss Cooperation

Emirates Post Group welcomed a delegation from Emirates Transport led by its Director General Mohammed Abdullah Al Jarman,and the two sides discussed ways to boost communication as part of a long-term partnership.
The meeting was attended by Abdullah Al-Ashram, CEO of Emirates Post, Sultan Al Midfa, CEO of Empost, Khalid Shahdoor, CEO for Information Affairs, and Abdullah Al Zaabi, CEOfor Strategyand Communication, Emirates Post Group.

The meeting was also attended by Engineer Abdullah Alkindi,Executive Director for Business Development, Bader Al-Attar, Executive Director for Logistics, Walid Al Muhairi, Executive Director of Transport and Leasing, and Engineer Osman Bou-Hussein, Director of Project Development, Emirates Transport.

Welcoming the delegation, Abdullah Al Ashram stressed the importance of strengthening the concerted efforts of government institutions to achieve the goals and vision of the Federal Government and to contribute actively to the implementation of its plans and initiatives within the framework of Vision 2021.

Mohammed Abdullah Al Jarman highlighted the importance of the visit which enabled the two sides to discuss topics of common interest, and to reach an agreement on exchange of experiences and expertise in the areas of operation and training.

Al Jarman said Emirates Transport was fully prepared to expand the range of services provided to the Emirates Post Group,including supply of vehicles tracking systems and provision of logistics services in the field of cashtransportation and transfer of postal items and others.

Mr. Abdullah Al Zaabi said gave an introductory presentation on the group’s strategic plan 2011-2013, followed by a brief on postal services provided by the group and its subsidiaries to customers.

The two sides agreed to form a working group to achieve the objectives set in the meeting by both parties.
