Leading UAE headquartered conglomerate, Al-Futtaim, is gearing up towards yet another successful participation at the UAE's foremost recruitment, education and training event exclusively for UAE nationals, Careers UAE 2015, that will be held between 28-30 April at the Dubai World Trade Center.
At the exhibition, the company aims to attract many qualified UAE Nationals by providing employment opportunities within its wide-ranging and diverse business operations, including automotive, services, retail, real estate development and electronics as part of its bid to employ over 1000 Emiratis in the next two years.
This year marks the company's 10th participation at this esteemed recruitment trade fair, aiming to support the UAE's drive to further integrate Emiratis into the private sector and provide them with a chance to join one of the most successful regional corporations.
"Al-Futtaim is now, more than ever committed to the empowerment of local talent as evidenced by the over 600 UAE Nationals who currently work at the firm. This event is a gateway to an ever growing pool of gifted young Emiratis who will be instrumental in shaping the future of this country. Our representatives will proactively interact with young aspiring candidates at the exhibition who will be later contacted for potential job prospects," said Zuhair Al Haj, Director of Human Resources and Localisation in the MENA region, Al-Futtaim.
Through its Intilaq graduate management training programme, Al-Futtaim hires graduates to spend 18 months working across the group's various divisions. The firm also assists school leavers and diploma students by encouraging them to join various traineeships in Retail, Administration and Insurance Sales for 6 months on and off the job training.
"Al Futtaim remains one of the strongest advocates of the UAE's Emiratisation programme and will stay committed to championing this key initiative for many years to come," concluded Mr. Al Haj.
