Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, DTCM, has announced the launch of the 14th edition of the Dubai Ramadan Forum, which will take place from June 24th to July 4th under the patronage of H.H. The announcement was made during a press conference today, which was attended by Hamad Mohammed bin Mejren, Senior Vice President, Dubai Events and Convention Bureau at the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing and General Supervisor of the Dubai Ramadan Forum, as well as representatives of the sponsors and a number of journalists. The press conference was also attended by a photographer, Abdul Rashid, who converted to Islam during last year’s Dubai Ramadan Forum.

Hamad Mohammed bin Mejren said, "The Dubai Ramadan Forum aims to spread the enriching values of the Islamic faith and its tolerant teachings aimed at establishing peace and harmony amongst people of diverse nationalities. The Emirate of Dubai serves as an excellent model of this wonderful co-existence, as you know the city is home to more than 200 nationalities from around the world living together as one big multicultural family.

"As part of our commitment to further expand the scope and reach of the Dubai Ramadan Forum, we have introduced a number of new elements this year building on the success of the events and activities established in previous years," he added.

Bin Mejren extended his thanks to the sponsors of the 14th Dubai Ramadan Forum, who he said are supporting the event out of their deep belief in the noble message it carries to humanity. He also made a presentation in which he reviewed with the attendees the key events of the Forum.

Speaking on behalf of Ahmed Abdulla Al Marzouqi, Senior Manager - External Communications at Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, DEWA, Abdul Rahman Al Qasim, representative of DEWA, said, "DEWA’s participation in Dubai Ramadan Forum is part of its continuous efforts to support social development and humanitarian work in Dubai and the UAE. By taking part in this distinguished event, we look forward to developing cooperation and teamwork, especially during the Holy Month of Ramadan, to achieve people’s happiness and serve the common good."

Mohsen Hassan, Director, Noor Dubai Radio, Dubai Media Incorporated, said, "Dubai Media is delighted to cover an event of the calibre of Dubai Ramadan Forum, which has grown in popularity and achieved huge success year after year. This year, various media channels of DMI, including social media platforms, will cover the Forum extensively. DMI would like to thank the organisers and all those who are involved in ensuring the success of this event."
