Dubai Duty Free’s 34th year anniversary is right around the corner and the airport retailer is celebrating it once again with a 25% discount both in store and online. Dubai Duty Free will host a three-day sale (18th, 19th and 20th December) on a wide range of products in what has become an annual pre-Christmas celebration.
The 34th anniversary is sure to signal another sales milestones for the retailer with the special 25% discount offer available for all departing, transiting and arriving passengers at Dubai International Airport and at Al Maktoum International Airport, beginning at midnight on the 17th of December and ending at midnight on the 20th of December. Customers can also avail the discount offer online for three days through https://online.dubaidutyfree.com with the exception of the Finest Surprise and Millennium Millionaire tickets which are eligible for discount only on the anniversary day itself, 20th December.
Commenting on the anniversary day plans, Colm McLoughlin, Executive Vice Chairman & CEO of Dubai Duty Free said: “The Dubai Duty Free anniversary promotion is now a highly-anticipated event with many travelers choosing to travel on these days. There is a great carnival-like atmosphere throughout the retail operation over the three days and our team of staff do a terrific job throughout the busy period. When Dubai Duty Free opened for business on 20th December 1983, the operation had 100 employees, 27 of whom are still in active service and are known as the ‘pioneers’. Today, the operation employs over 5,900 staff comprising 45 different nationalities.
