Technology companies to gain unparalleled access to the staff, resources and expertise behind the Museum of the Future.

Under the Dubai Future Foundation, the Museum of the Future has started its 4-week accelerator program where fifteen companies have been shortlisted as strategic partners to take part in the programme and enhance visitors’ experience. The Museum of the Future Accelerator is a unique opportunity for technology companies to gain unparalleled access to the staff, resources and expertise behind the Museum of the Future. The Accelerator is hosted under the umbrella of Dubai Future Accelerators, part of Dubai Future Foundationprogrammes.

The shortlisted partners: HTC, Huawei, POPIQ, SENSOREE, Art Processors, IDENTIGY, Unified Inbox, DigiComm, Holotronica, SNIPS, MetaVRse, SPACES, IT-Serve, Axeon360 and Layers of Reality hail from different countries such as the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, France, Taiwan, Singapore, China, and the UAE. These companies will create a unique experience for visitors through their innovative solutions to AI guides, virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) and advanced wearables.

“As His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said, “The Museum of the Future will be an incubator for ideas, a driver for innovation, and a destination for inventors and entrepreneurs from around the world”. Through the Museum of the Future, Dubai aims to achieve a world-class experience with a one-of-a-kind visitor experience,” said H.E. Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation.

“We are happy to welcome all the shortlisted companies to enrich the experience of The Museum of the Future. Through their expertise, we believe these companies will create solutions that will create remarkable experiences for all visitors,” Dr. Noah Raford, Futurist-in-Chief and acting Executive Director of the Museum of the Future added.

Since 2014, the Museum of the Future has held temporary annual multi-sensory exhibitions at the World Government Summit in Dubai. These exhibitions focused on the role of future technology in different sectors such as government services, healthcare, climate change and food security.

The Museum of the Future is a unique incubator for futuristic innovation and design. It is set to become the world's largest and most exciting portal to discovering tomorrow's trends and opportunities. It will act as a platform to demonstrate and test the latest inventions and prototypes, and will host a major event space, a theatre, classrooms, and partnership labs with the most inspiring industry leaders of the 21st century. The Museum of the Future is currently under construction and is set to open by the end of 2019.
