Commercial Bank of Dubai announced the opening of its new branch at City Walk 2 in Dubai as part of its plan to deliver even higher levels of customer service to clients.
Saeed Ahmed Ghobash, Chairman of the Board of Directors inaugurated the new branch in the presence of other board members, Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Bernd van Linder, and a group of the Bank’s customers and members of senior management.
The new branch features advanced digital technologies that enable customers to interact with the Bank in exciting new ways. It is designed with the clients in mind and is a key element of CBD’s transformation program.
On the occasion, Dr. Bernd van Linder said: “The opening of the new branch at City Walk illustrates our passion for innovation and our commitment to providing our clients with innovative solutions that make their banking experience simpler, easier and more personalized while also ensuring that they are experiencing the highest standards of customer service. It emphasizes the Bank’s commitment to serving its clients with the most technologically advanced tools.”

One of the key features of the branch is the user friendly digital platforms and technologies that provide clients with the right tools to simplify their overall banking experience, allowing them to interact with the Bank in exciting new ways. The new branch is equipped with tablets to showcase the Bank’s products and services, and provide clients with access to the Bank’s website and are fully equipped with the latest technologies in banking services such as Interactive Walls and tablet devices, Cheques and Cash Deposit Machine (CDM) and ATM machines. These smart systems offer an interactive digital experience through which customers can complete their transactions and enquiries efficiently in a shorter period of time than conventional banking channels.
Last year, CBD opened three digital kiosks at Dubai Festival City, Mirdif City Center and Al Wahda Mall in Abu Dhabi.
